Recent Projects

Projectable Consulting was the early-stage Project Development Manager for the Nova East Wind floating offshore wind project, a joint venture between DP Energy and SBM Offshore. At a proposed 300 – 400 megawatts off of Goldboro, Nova Scotia, Nova East Wind is Canada’s leading offshore wind project that will provide secure, green electricity to Nova Scotians.

Projectable Consulting was the Lead Program Manager for the Fundy Ocean Research Center for Energy’s (FORCE) Risk Assessment Program.  The program created a detailed, credible assessment tool to gauge the probability that fish will encounter a tidal energy device. The project was funded through NRCan’s Energy Innovation Program.

FORCE deploying a large cabled platform in the Minas Passage and sharing that data online with the Canadian Integrated Ocean Observing System (CIOOS). Projectable Consulting managed the project for FORCE.

The project was part of a larger research project called Vitality that was funded by Canada’s Ocean Supercluster. Vitality brought key ocean data to CIOOS – a national online platform for sharing, discovering and accessing ocean data in Canada. Vitality was led by Pisces Research Project Management.

About/bio

Anne-Marie is a leading project developer in the Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) sector. She is a senior Project Manager and Professional Engineer with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service to happy clients and partners. She brings a wealth of diverse knowledge, insight, and experience to all projects and initiatives.  In the MRE sector, she was the Project Development Manager for DP Energy in Canada, the Tidal Project Development Manager at Emera Inc. and the Director of Operations at FORCE. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University and a Master of Science from New York University.

Anne-Marie is passionate about supporting women and other under-represented groups. She is the former  Chair of the Women in Engineering Committee at Engineers Nova Scotia, and is a Connector in the Greater Halifax Partnership’s Connector Program.
